Updates to Sembly Plans (Effective March 1, 2026)

Starting March 1, 2026, we’re updating the Sembly app plan structure and plan names to make them easier to understand and better aligned with how customers use Sembly today. The new plans users will be able to subscribe to on the website and in the app are the following:

• Basic for individuals who want the maximum value from recordings and meeting notes.
• Pro for individuals and teams who need deeper meeting analytics and integrations with other work tools. 
• Max is for teams and organizations that require full feature access, improved video quality, and flexible customization options.

New plans feature set

1. Mixed-language meetings allow you to choose 2 languages at a time from 40+ available for the meeting transcription. You will be setting them up for the whole workspace during the registration steps. You can always change to another pair of languages or select just one. Each scheduled meeting has its own language settings, which can be changed before a meeting begins.

2. Meeting Agent Customization for paid Basic includes only name change for Zoom and Microsoft Teams meetings. Google Meet customization (name and avatar) is included in the Pro, MAX, and Enterprise plans.

3. Notification and Consent Tracking. Workspace-level notifications that inform meeting attendees by email about the meeting recording and insights from the finished meeting. Pro and Max plan users can adjust both. Basic plan users can only send post-meeting insights to meeting invitees by email.

4. With Automations, you can export Meeting Notes, Transcripts, and Tasks to other tools. Personal Automations allow sending data from meetings that a particular user has access to. Workspace-wide automations can send data from all meetings recorded in a workspace. When connecting Sembly to other tools, you create an automation rule that defines what data to send (Notes, Tasks, Transcripts), how to send it (automatically, manually), and where. Each plan includes a fixed number of rules that each user or admin can create for integrations.

Legacy plans changes

If you're using a free Personal plan, you will be moved to a Basic free trial, with limited features and no need to add a credit card. The Basic plan free trial mode does not require a credit card at registration either. 

You can upgrade to any of the new paid plans (Basic, Pro, or MAX). You will not have access to any of the legacy plans.

For Professional, Team, and Team Plus plans, there will be no immediate changes. You will continue to use Sembly legacy plans as usual by December 2026. We will inform you about automatic migration to new plans later this year. New plans are now available for you to switch to. Information about your current legacy plan is displayed in the left-hand menu of your Sembly account and in the Billing section.

Semblian 2.0 updates

Semblian is no longer available as an add-on for the legacy Professional plan. For Professional plan customers who previously added Semblian 2.0, there are no changes to how you use this feature. You will continue to have access as long as you remain on the legacy Professional plan, keep your Semblian 2.0 subscription active, and stay on the legacy plan through the end of the year. If you cancel a Semblian subscription, you won’t be able to renew it.

If you want to move to a new plan, we recommend choosing the Pro plan, which includes Semblian by default. Switching to Basic will remove access to Semblian.

Semblian is included by default in the Pro, MAX and Enterprise plans.

Moving to a new plan manually

Professional, Team, and Team Plus plans will continue to receive bug fixes and updates. New features will be introduced only to Basic (both free and paid), Pro, MAX, and Enterprise. If you would like to use the new features, you will need to switch to a new plan, which will start a new billing cycle. 

Any unused amount from your legacy plan will be prorated and applied to your new subscription.

To switch from a legacy plan to a new plan, go to the Plans section. Please note that this action is final, and you won’t be able to switch back to a legacy plan.
