If you’ve lost access to the email address connected to your Sembly account, for example, due to leaving a company or a deactivated work email, there are a few important things to keep in mind.
Changing your email
At this time, it’s not possible to change one email address associated with an existing Sembly account to another by request to the Sembly support team. For security and privacy reasons, we also do not transfer meeting data between accounts.
If you want to continue using Sembly, the best option is to create a new account using your current email address.
What about my subscription?
If you had an active paid subscription on your old account and would like to move the remaining balance or credits to your new one, please reach out to our support team at support@sembly.ai.
To complete the transfer, you’ll need to provide proof that the subscription was paid with your personal funds (e.g., a payment receipt or billing confirmation).
Please note that if your previous subscription was paid for by your employer or another organization, we won’t be able to transfer it to a personal account.
