Sembly offers one service plan for a single user: Sembly Professional, and three plans for the teams: Sembly Team, Sembly Team Plus, and Sembly Enterprise.
Sembly Personal is a free plan with limited functionality.

Follow the steps below:
- Login to Sembly
- In the sidebar menu, find and click a gear icon and select Settings
- In the context menu on the left select Plans
- Decide whether you want a monthly or annual subscription
- If you select monthly payment for the Professional subscription, you will be billed each month. We will send you an email reminder as the due payment date approaches. Once the payment is successfully processed, you will receive an email containing both the invoice and receipt. Your invoices will also be stored in your account for future reference.
- If you select monthly billing for the Team, Team Plus, or Enterprise subscription, your monthly invoice will reflect a calculated amount, taking into account the number of added members. Any new members who join in the middle of the billing cycle will be prorated according to the plan price and billed immediately.
- If you select annual payment for the Professional subscription, you will be billed once a year. We will send you an email reminder as the due payment date approaches. Once the payment is successfully processed, you will receive an email containing both the invoice and receipt. Your invoices will also be stored in your account for future reference.
- If you select annual billing for the Team, Team Plus, or Enterprise subscription, your annual invoice will reflect a calculated amount, taking into account the number of added members. Any new members who join in the middle of the year will be prorated according to the plan price and billed immediately.
- Select your plan and confirm your choice. If you have not already completed your payment information, you will be prompted to do so. You will then be granted a complimentary, 7-day period to experience the capabilities of the product. You may cancel the subscription at any point before the trial ends.
- Changes you make with your subscription in the middle of the billing cycle will be calculated immediately. For example, if you want to upgrade your paid plan, you will be charged once you switch the subscription plan for the recalculated amount for the new plan for the rest of the current month.
- In the case of downgrading your plan or the number of plan users, the funds will be credited to your Sembly account and distributed in the following months.

How many paid plans does Sembly have?
Sembly has 4 paid plans for every taste: Sembly Professional, Sembly Team, Sembly Team Plus, and Sembly Enterprise. Sembly also offers its basic features in the Sembly Personal plan free of charge.
How can I choose a currency different from USD?
If you've already subscribed to one of the Sembly plans and wish to switch your payment currency, follow these steps:
- Cancel your current subscription;
- Wait until the current billing cycle ends;
- Resubscribe to the paid plan, and during the process, choose your preferred currency

Can I switch between plans?
- During the free trial
You can switch between plans during the 7-day trial. This will not affect a trial date that remains the same. You can check the trial date in the Billing section of your account.
- If I already paid for one
Yes, you can switch between Plans in the middle of your current subscription. Switching plans will restart a new billing cycle with immediate invoicing for the new fee. The funds for the previous subscription that weren't used will be credited to your account balance and included in the payment, therefore your invoice for the new subscription will be reduced depending on your current balance. To find out your balance, message Sembly Support.
How do I renew my subscription?
- If I'm on a Personal plan
To renew your plan benefits, go to plans and select the plan of your choice.
- If I'm still on my old subscription plan
If your benefits have already ended and you want to resubscribe, you simply should click "Renew Subscription" in the pop-up message inside your account.

Why should I choose Sembly Team over Sembly Professional?
Sembly Professional fits independent professionals, and Sembly Team is for collaboration inside a small or mid-size company. With a Sembly Team account, you will be able to add up to 40 users to your workspace and coordinate everything in a single admin panel. If your Team has more than 40 employees, you will need Sembly Enterprise.
The benefits of the Team plan over the Professional are:
- One agent. Unlike individual Sembly plans where the meeting invitees have a Sembly agent each, users under a single Workspace are followed by a single agent linked to a Workspace. For example, your workspace is called “Bobby.” Now, anywhere you invite Sembly, it will be joining, signed as “Bobby’s Sembly agent.”
Sembly users from another workspace will have a personal agent on a call. Therefore, they will have their own recording and will not have access to your meeting in Sembly unless you share.
- One Meeting. All workspace members who received an invite to the call can access it in their Sembly accounts (unless restricted)
- One billing. Billing and the admin panel are united within a Workspace and controlled by admins. Workspace Admins can add payment methods and manage invoices. Admins can switch between service plans for the whole Workspace. Regular workspace members can’t view the Billing section.
- Tasks, Key Items, and other exclusive AI features that are not available in the Professional Plan.
Can I downgrade my Team Plan to Professional?
Yes, you can downgrade your Team Plan to Professional. To downgrade to Sembly Professional will require you to delete all existing workspace users if you have more than one user in your workspace in the Team Plan subscription. Note that the Professional Plan doesn't include the ability to add users to a Workspace.
