Sembly allows unlimited meeting history access for all paid plans. Should you want to delete meetings from your account one by one, you can follow our instructions.
Workspace Admins can delete past meetings in bulk via the Data Retention feature in the Workspace settings. This feature allows you to customize a period after which the meeting data will be erased throughout the workspace.
|
All deletions are final and are not subject to recovery. Please think twice before you set up automatic deletion. |
|
Because this setting erases meetings from all accounts in the team, Workspace Admins should be cautious and confirm the setup with the rest of the users. |
Configuration
- In your Sembly account, in settings, open Workspace details, scroll down, and find the "Data Retention"
- Click Configure
- Then, you'll be able to select what meeting data you want to be automatically deleted:
-
No, do not automatically delete meeting data - while selecting this option, your meeting data won't be deleted. This option is set by default;
-
Yes, delete all meeting data after ** days - by selecting this option, you can set after how many days your meeting data will be deleted from Sembly;
-
Yes, delete only meeting media (audio, video) after ** days - by selecting this option, you can set after how many days your media data (video and audio) will be deleted from Sembly. It's important to note that meeting transcripts and AI features will remain accessible for use.
|
It’s important to note that the deletion process is triggered daily during the morning UTC hours. Therefore, if you schedule a deletion after 24 hours and your meeting stars after the daily deletion time, the meeting won’t be deleted on the same day, as the 24-hour period hasn’t yet passed. Instead, it will be deleted the following day. |
Data retention history
- In your Sembly account, in settings, open Workspace details, scroll down, and find the "Data Retention history"
- Click View history
- In the next window, you can see the history and details of deleted meetings and set how many rows per page are displayed
|
The Data Retention History does not show meetings deleted with standard method. |
